- This village is one of the most affected areas during the 1994 genocide that lasted for 100 days, most of their parents are orphans and illiterate, their only means of living is by planting sweet potates and beans. Most of them are no read, no write. It's a 3 hours of bumpy drive from the main road, 5 hours away from the capital city, and is one of the poorest Districts in Rwanda.
